Portable Film Program for Youth (PFPY)
Pegasus Film Festival (PFF)
Multimedia Apprenticeship Program (MAP)
Exhibition of Visions (EOV)
We believe that a participant could experience all of our programs in their journey as an artist. Then, with successful careers, they give back through mentorship or teaching masterclasses to new program participants in the future,
creating a cycle of change our industry desperately needs.
OUR HISTORY
The organization’s history is rooted in the desire to inspire and empower our youth to pursue their passions for filmmaking. The Pegasus Media Project (PMP) was founded in 2012 by Iranian-born artist-educator Niloo Jalilvand. In 2021, Jalilvand partnered with filmmaker Christian Vasquez, and PMP was established as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
